Instructions for authors

We look forward to receiving your abstract to the WAA-SFH Joint Congress. Please read carefully the following guidelines before submitting an abstract.

FINAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE extended to Monday, March 21, 2016.
Maximum 300 words. In English only. Pictures, tables and figures are not accepted.
We need you to use the template given below:
Abstract template for the next WAA-SFH Joint Congress

All abstracts that will not be submitted according to this template will not be reviewed nor accepted.
You need to select, on the template, between the following submission categories: « oral presentation » or « poster » or “no preference”.
You need to indicate who will be presenting the communication by underlining the presenting author.
We need to receive each abstract in separate Word documents.

Your abstracts must contain the following parts in the same order as below:

  • Study (IMRAD): Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion
  • Clinical case(s): Introduction, Observations, Discussion

They should not exceed 300 words (including the bibliography). Photos, drawings and tables are not accepted.
Your abstracts must be submitted in English.

Once your abstract is received, it will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and you will receive a notification e-mail in March, with the confirmation of the final decision (oral presentation, poster or rejected).
We remind you that the authors agree that each abstract, once accepted by the Scientific Committee, must be presented (whether in oral or poster) and it will no longer be possible, once this proposal is accepted, to withdraw it or request its deletion.
We remind you that the acceptance of a communication to the Congress does not exempt from registration requirements. You commit yourself to attend the Congress to present your accepted communication.
Accepted abstracts will then be published on the SFH (Société Française d’Hémaphérèse) website:
